Friday proved a spectacular day at CONNECT. One of the first days to feel like Spring and the sun was not the only thing shinning. Every student at CONNECT awaited the arrival of the USMA Sprint Football Team with eager anticipation.
Caiden served as the ambassador and welcomed the team with a card for all 49 participants. In the auditorium the Cadets of the United States Military Academy introduced themselves and giving a signed mini football to their new CONNECT friends got to know each other.
After introductions were made it was pure fun of all those involved! Inside the offense played Finger Flick Football, while the defense warmed up an played catch with their new CONNECT friends outside. At “intermission” the groups changed activities.
It was hard saying goodbye to our new friends. Autographs were asked for and pictures taken. The last activity however was a group cheer… “GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY!”
