When Army West Point Sprint Football Coach Mark West and many of his players find themselves with some free time, they use it to do good. Last week, West and 70 players spent an afternoon at the Highland Falls Intermediate School with the CONNECT program students. The kids got to try on equipment, practice their defensive skills, play dodgeball with the cadets, enjoy other fun games, and collect some autographs. The message was camaraderie, and despite not being able to go outside for the fun, it was a good day in the school gym! Here, some of the scenes of the day. CONNECT is the free, after-school program provided to third through eighth graders by the West Point Association of Graduates.
