In a move that probably made lots of Highland Falls and Fort Montgomery moms incredibly happy, florist Rosemarie Pozo and Kim Kort, with the help of retired Highland Falls florist Michael Graber (not pictured) visited CONNECT last week to share their love of floral arrangements with the students. Students used boxwood clippings from Mr. Graber’s garden, and Fall flowers to turn mini pumpkins into perfect pumpkin bouquets! CONNECT is the free afterschool program for Highland Falls Intermediate School third through eighth graders, provided by the West Point Association of Graduates.
