CONNECT celebrates International Girls Day every day by providing STEM learning opportunities in such classes as Girls Who Game, Engineering, and Robotics. Nearly 1 in 4 girls aged 15-19 globally are not in education, employment training, compared to 1 in 10 boys. CONNECT’s STEM-focused curriculum looks to shift these numbers and empower girls to follow their passions and become the innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders of the future.
CONNECT is an initiative by the West Point Association of Graduates to provide an after school educational program of engaging activities, extra curricular, and to bring together the communities of West Point and Highland Falls/Fort Montgomery.
