How to make a Skeleton

Highland Falls Intermediate School’s CONNECT kids took paper towel tubes, painted them, laid them out on a table and … a skeleton appeared! Nah, it wasn’t that easy. The children, part of the West Point Association of Graduate’s free afterschool program for third through eighth graders, had to figure out what ‘bones’ went where, causing them, their teachers said, to learn a little bit of science while doing an art project! If you want to know just how many bones are in the human body, just ask any of these kids, who worked together as quite the team to create this masterpiece, they know!
Happy Halloween!
