That’s the question that the students in a CONNECT class called exactly that – What can we make today? – face every time they walk through the doors. On a recent day they used a classic pasta machine to make clay figures. While they weren’t making pasta that day, they do use food in their work, as well as random items like pinecones, beads, yarn pipe cleaners and more – “all in a fun and creative way”. Here, Eliana, Bianca, Daniel and Angel at work. CONNECT is the free, after school program hosted by West Point Association of Graduates for Highland Falls Intermediate School students.
