Carmen is CONNECT’s Student of the Month. She excels here at CONNECT and exemplifies the qualities we look for in our S.T.A.R.S. She is a leader and is one of our Student Ambassadors. She has the responsibility of greeting visitors and giving them a tour of our program. She is helpful, engaged and always participates in the class room. We encourage other students hoping for this title to look to her for an example of what a leader is.
Her favorite thing about CONNECT is how many different classes we offer. Her favorite class at CONNECT is art. She loves being able to do different projects each day and her favorite this year was designing gingerbread houses. Outside of CONNECT she has fun at home playing with her sister. She likes to get outside playing hide and go seek, tag and enjoys watching TV as well.
